Medicare Prescription Drug Plans – Part D

Medicare Open Enrollment

Medicare prescription drug plans (also known as Medicare Part D) are a type of Medicare insurance that helps with the cost of prescription drugs. Prescription drug plans range in cost from about $17 per month up to about $65 per month depending on where you live and which plan you choose.

Medicare prescription drug plans are part of Medicare, therefore you need to be enrolled in some form of Medicare plan to qualify. Usually that means you are at least 65 years old.
