Employers Association of Montana Benefits Limited by Affordable Care Act

Share

The Employers Association of Montana is no longer providing benefit offerings or their association services.  According to the Employers Association’s website, “the Affordable Care Act has limited the scope of specific association plans to continue as written today.”

Regarding the impact on group life insurance, the Employers Association stated: “We believe most groups can secure group life and voluntary life insurance through other carriers at a more competitive rate.”

We’ve received many inquiries from Human Resource managers at companies impacted by Employers Association’s decision, which went into effect on April 1 of this year.  If you represent a business looking for a group life insurance program, don’t hesitate to contact us or give us a call at 406-548-3135 .

At Montana Life Group, we offer several group life insurance plans that can be set up as an employee benefit.  Voluntary employee-paid plans can also be bundled with an employer-paid plan or set up as stand-alone plans.  We specialize in customizing a benefits package to match each company’s needs.
